A Story Told in Flowers
At the beginning of August, Lauren & Andrew traveled all the way from the East Coast to celebrate their next chapter with their loved ones here at Pear Bloom Farm.
They had visited the Secret Garden a couple of times before, but there was one little detail: it had never been in bloom during their previous visits. So, when they returned and the garden was bursting with color, flowers, and vibrancy, we were especially excited for them to finally experience it in full bloom.
We had also been keeping a close eye on the air quality that week because of a local fire. We weren't quite sure what the day would bring, but somehow, everything cleared just in time. By the time Lauren & Andrew's celebration began, we had the most beautiful blue-sky day. It felt like one of those little moments that was simply meant to be.

A Quiet Beginning Beneath the Apple Trees
Before joining their loved ones in the Secret Garden, Lauren & Andrew shared a first look and exchanged personal vows in the apple orchard.
With the trees surrounding them and the soft summer light coming through, it was pretty much straight out of a fairytale, if I do say so myself. There was something so special about having this quiet moment together before the celebration began. Just the two of them, their vows, and the orchard.
Afterward, Lauren changed into her second look (because who doesn't love a second outfit?) and joined Andrew and their loved ones in the Secret Garden.
Down the Garden Path, Into a New Chapter
We were especially honored to create Andrew's boutonniere using his favorite color: orange. And when paired with Lauren's U-Pick bouquet, the two were the perfect match. We love when little personal details like these make their way into a celebration. They make the day feel that much more personal and meaningful.
Lauren & Andrew then walked down the center row of the Secret Garden, surrounded by flowers and the most enchanting violin music playing beautifully in the background. It was such a joyful and romantic moment, and the garden couldn't have been a more beautiful setting for it. Then came the kiss that marked the beginning of their new chapter together.
An Evening Made of Flowers & Memories
Afterwards, their guests got to experience one of our favorite parts of celebrating at Pear Bloom Farm: U-Picking their own flowers. Guests wandered through the Secret Garden, choosing blooms to create their own little bud vase arrangements. Photos were taken, drinks were enjoyed, and laughter and smiles filled the garden. There was something so lovely about watching everyone make their own little piece of the garden part of the evening.
Everything about this day was what we love about gathering in the Secret Garden: personal, joyful, surrounded by flowers, and filled with the people who mean the most.
We feel so lucky that they chose to celebrate this chapter with us, and even luckier that we finally got to show them the garden in all its blooming glory.
