Locally Grown

There’s something truly special about celebrating life’s biggest moments surrounded by the natural beauty of the farm. That’s exactly how we celebrated Yesenia, the owner of Pear Bloom Farm, and her soon-to-arrive second little farmer—with a cozy baby sprinkle in the middle of the Secret garden that felt warm, fresh, and perfectly true to the farm. Naturally, the theme was “Locally Grown,” a heartfelt nod to both the farm and the new life blossoming soon to join it.

The tall, strong sunflowers made an amazing backdrop for our banner—talk about picture perfect! There’s something so meaningful about picking flowers straight from the earth, and it felt like the best way to honor this new chapter in her life.

Locally Grown, Perfectly Timed

We loaded up our long wooden table in the center of the garden with all the best local goodies—juicy peaches and pears, crisp cucumbers, sweet grapes, and strawberries bursting with flavor. Plus, our charcuterie boards had a fun twist: the salami was arranged to look like roses! It was tasty, beautiful, and totally on point for the occasion.

We were a little nervous about the weather because we were right in the middle of a heatwave. Luckily, we decided to push the U-pick to later in the evening. Once the sun started to set, the temperature dropped just enough, and it was absolutely perfect. And thank goodness we held the sprinkle when we did—because just a few days later, the baby was born!

U-Pick Joy: Bud vase keepsakes and Corbin’s Flowers for Mama

We kicked off the evening with our favorite tradition—u-picking flowers, and to be honest, it was the perfect way to celebrate new life. Everyone picked their own fresh flowers to make little bud vase arrangements as keepsakes from the day. And Yesenia, being the guest of honor, filled our engraved French vase with a much larger gorgeous bouquet. It was extra sweet to see her firstborn, Corbin, running through the garden with pure excitement—basket in hand, joyfully cutting stems and proudly telling everyone they were all for Mama.

The Pear Bloom Family Grows

The whole day was centered around welcoming the newest bundle of joy with family—savoring the simple, meaningful moments that come from the land and the people we love most. Surrounded by vibrant blooms and fresh harvest, we celebrated new beginnings and the deep roots that keep us grounded.

This baby sprinkle was a heartfelt gathering—a true celebration of life, love, and everything that grows right alongside them. The newest little farmer is already so loved, and we're so excited for him to join the Pear Bloom Family.
