A Garden of Love
Last month, our garden was the setting for something incredibly special. Lauren and Bec gathered their closest loved ones to witness and celebrate the beginning of their next chapter together—and we were beyond honored to be a part of it. There was something so genuine and grounding about the way they shared the moment: surrounded by nature, laughter, and the people who know them best. It wasn’t about grand gestures, but about meaningful ones—and it felt like pure magic from start to finish.

A Summer Afternoon Full of Light and Florals
It was one of those golden early summer afternoons—the kind that makes everything feel a little more magical. The sun was bright and generous, but the orchard trees offered a gentle canopy of shade. Guests brought along parasols, adding a charming touch while keeping cool in the soft breeze.
Lauren looked absolutely radiant in a flowing purple dress and pink hair crowned with fresh flowers we had picked and arranged that morning. The soft pastels paired perfectly with Lauren’s vibrant spirit. As a surprise, we also created a boutonniere for Bec to match Lauren’s flower crown—just a small gesture to reflect the thoughtfulness of the day. Bec wore a beautiful braid, which by the end of the celebration had fresh flowers lovingly tucked into it by guests—an unplanned but oh-so-perfect floral touch.
A U-Pick to Remember
To make this day even more special, guests were invited to wander the garden for the first U-pick of our 2025 season. We had planned this intimate celebration for the very beginning of our bloom season—which, to be honest, had us a little nervous. We weren’t sure if the timing would line up just right. But thanks to a few well-timed days of rain and a good dose of sunshine, the flowers took off. Every day leading up to Lauren and Bec’s special day, we walked through the garden, crossing our fingers—and each day, more blooms appeared like little miracles.
By the time their day arrived, the garden was bursting with color—roses, yarrow, snapdragons, and more—all in their peak, just waiting to be picked. Guests wandered through the rows, snipping stems and gathering their florals in kraft paper sleeves, each bundle a little snapshot of joy. Some took their time, thoughtfully choosing each flower, while others followed their hearts and picked whatever made them smile. It was one of those quietly magical moments where everything felt easy, present, and full of love—like the garden itself was celebrating right alongside them.
Grateful for Love in Full Bloom
The flowers picked that day weren’t just for fun—they had a beautiful purpose. The very next day, they were transformed into centerpieces for Lauren and Bec’s reception with the rest of their friends and family. A true farm-to-table moment, but make it floral.
There was laughter, happy tears, petals everywhere, and a kind of love that you could feel in the air. Watching these two celebrate in a place that means so much to us, surrounded by joy and color, was something we won’t soon forget.
