Among the Blooms

We had the absolute honor of welcoming Maddy to our Rose Garden for such a meaningful milestone — her senior year! We were her third flower garden of the day, and despite a full afternoon of photos, the magic was just beginning when she arrived.

Meet the dream team:

Under the Upside Down Meadow

We began in our repurposed shipping container, home to the Upside Down Meadow—a whimsical space where dried flowers from our Secret Garden hang delicately overhead. Harvested throughout the year, these blooms are carefully dried and transformed into bouquets, flower crowns, wreaths, and more.

The air was golden and still, with a dreamlike hush as the flowers swayed gently above us. Maddy stepped inside with effortless grace, perfectly at home among the blooms. She radiated confidence and joy, moving fluidly as the camera captured every moment.

Golden Hour in the Rose Garden

From there, we wandered through the pear orchard, the soft crunch of the earth beneath our feet guiding us to the Rose Garden just as the sun began to dip. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect—the golden hour cast warm rays through the trees, lighting up the roses in their fullest, most vibrant bloom. It was one of those moments that just felt cinematic. Timeless. She twirled through the garden with effortless joy, her dress catching the light as it billowed around her—like the delicate petals of a tulip in mid-bloom, graceful and full of life.

A Milestone Celebrated in Full Bloom and a Keepsake of Blossoming Moments

What made it all the more special was knowing Maddy chose our garden to mark such an important milestone in her life. Senior year is a chapter filled with transformation, excitement, and a sense of stepping into the future—and to celebrate it in a place rooted in beauty and growth felt so fitting.

As the evening came to a close, Maddy handpicked a small bouquet of flowers to keep as a memento—each bloom a symbol of her journey, and a reflection of her own beauty, strength, and spirit.

With love,

Yesenia
