A Garden Party to Remember
Back in July, we had the absolute honor of celebrating the lovely Heather and Terra in our Secret Garden as they prepared to begin their next chapter together the very next day. This was no ordinary evening—it was the garden party of dreams. Picture this: cocktail tables sprinkled throughout the pathways, long rectangle tables dressed in soft linens nestled between rows of blooming flowers, and the coziest lounge set right in the heart of it all. It was relaxed, elegant, and intimate—exactly what a night of celebration should be.
The atmosphere was effortlessly magical, thanks to the thoughtful setup that encouraged guests to mingle, laugh, and soak in the garden’s beauty. The soft golden-hour light danced between flower petals and cocktail glasses, and as the evening unfolded, the garden transformed into an oasis of warmth and joy.

Tacos, Trees & Thoughtful Solutions
The evening’s delicious centerpiece was a vibrant Mexican food truck, which found its perfect home parked just outside the pear trees lining the garden. Initially, we had hoped to park the truck closer, but the pear trees were so full of fruit that their branches hung low, narrowing the pathway too much. Rather than disrupt the natural beauty (or the truck!), we pivoted—parking it on the gravel nearby.
It turned out to be the perfect solution: the generator hum didn’t interfere with the music, the trees provided much-needed shade, and guests loved strolling over to grab their tacos before heading back into the garden. It was one of those happy accidents that made everything feel even more tailored to the moment.
A Bloom-Filled Bonding Moment
One of the most heartfelt highlights of the night was how Heather and Terra chose to include their guests in a meaningful and creative way. They invited everyone to wander through the Secret Garden and hand-pick flowers to create their own bud vase arrangements. These personal creations later became the centerpieces for the reception the following day.
Watching guests thoughtfully select each stem—smiling, asking questions, and helping one another—was a beautiful reminder of how love brings people together. The garden buzzed with laughter, hands full of color, and hearts full of joy. Each arrangement told a tiny story of the person who made it, adding an incredibly personal touch to the wedding that followed.
This evening was more than a party—it was a reflection of Heather and Terra’s love: warm, intentional, and full of beauty. We’re so grateful to have been part of it, and we’ll be dreaming of this night in the garden for years to come.
